Aviation safety and airworthiness expert with over 10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, regulatory oversight, and flight safety standards.
Manager of Flight Safety Standards
My journey in aviation spans over a decade, beginning with a strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and evolving into specialized expertise in regulatory compliance and flight safety standards.
As the Manager of Flight Safety Standards at Uganda Civil Aviation Authority, I oversee critical aspects of aviation safety, ensuring that all operations within our airspace adhere to international standards and best practices. My role involves leading safety audits, implementing risk assessment programs, and working closely with stakeholders to maintain Uganda's excellent safety record in aviation.
My passion for aviation safety has driven me to pursue advanced education and specialized certifications, including an Advanced Master in Aviation Safety & Aircraft Airworthiness from prestigious institutions like ENAC and ISAE-SUPAERO. This formal education, combined with hands-on experience across various roles in the aviation industry, has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the complex interplay between technical requirements, regulatory frameworks, and operational realities.
I am committed to promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement in aviation, where compliance is not just about meeting standards but about exceeding them to ensure the highest levels of safety for all air travelers.
